Anxiety
Anxiety can show up in many forms, such as chronic worry, overthinking, perfectionism, or a persistent sense of overwhelm. For highly sensitive people, this experience can feel amplified, as heightened awareness of both internal and external stimuli makes it harder to slow down or feel grounded. We will explore the underlying patterns and root causes of anxiety while developing practical tools to regulate the nervous system and build a greater sense of stability. Drawing from mindfulness and psychodynamic approaches, we will work to increase awareness of thoughts and emotional responses, softening self-critical patterns, and cultivating a more compassionate relationship with yourself. The goal is not necessarily to eliminate anxiety, but to change your relationship to it so you can move through life with more clarity and confidence.
Depression
Depression can involve persistent low mood, loss of motivation, disconnection, or a sense of emotional heaviness. This may also include navigating bipolar disorder, where shifts in mood, energy, and focus can feel confusing or difficult to manage. Our work centers on understanding these patterns with care and without judgment, while building tools to support emotional regulation, stability, and daily functioning. Using mindfulness and psychodynamic approaches, I will support you with reconnecting with yourself, processing underlying experiences, and gradually re-engaging with life in ways that feel meaningful and sustainable. The pace remains grounded, compassionate, and attuned to where you are.
Life Transitions
Periods of transition—whether related to relationships, career, identity, or major life changes—can bring both uncertainty and possibility. These moments often stir anxiety, self-doubt, or disorientation, while also opening space for growth. My approach emphasizes mindfulness and self-compassion as a foundation for reconnecting with your values and sense of direction. With attention to both internal experience and relational dynamics, our process will support you navigating change with clarity, honesty, and intention, balancing encouragement with gentleness along the way.
Artists
I support artists and creative individuals in working through the unique challenges of a creative life, including burnout, self-doubt, anxiety, and the pressures of balancing personal fulfillment with professional demands. My integrative approach, rooted in mindfulness and psychodynamic theory, creates space to build emotional resilience, deepen self-awareness, and move through creative blocks toward more authentic and sustainable expression.
Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Parenting
The path into and through parenthood—from fertility and pregnancy to the postpartum period and raising children—can be both meaningful and overwhelming. These stages often bring complex emotions, anxiety, identity shifts, and changes within relationships. I offer support that focuses on navigating the emotional and physical adjustments of the perinatal and postpartum periods, including mood fluctuations and the demands of early caregiving. Integrating mindfulness and psychodynamic insight, I will help you create a space to process these experiences, regulate emotions, and strengthen communication, with the goal of supporting both parent and child.
Couples
Relationships naturally shift over time, and partners can find themselves stuck in patterns of miscommunication, distance, or unresolved hurt, which are often intensified by stress and anxiety. I help couples slow down these cycles, understand the emotions beneath them, and build more intentional ways of connecting. Using a mindfulness-based, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed approach, I support partners in improving communication, strengthening emotional and physical intimacy, and navigating major transitions. My work is LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcomes couples of all identities and relationship structures.
Complex Trauma
I work with individuals who have experienced complex trauma, including the lasting effects of difficult family dynamics, relational wounds, or ongoing stress. Trauma can disrupt a sense of safety, identity, and connection, often contributing to chronic anxiety, hypervigilance, or emotional overwhelm. My approach integrates mindfulness and psychodynamic exploration to gently process these experiences while building resilience and self-compassion. I focus on creating a steady, supportive space for healing, balancing gentleness with direction so that new pathways of meaning, strength, and connection can emerge.
